• Has anyone other than [name] touched your genitals?

Romantic or tongue kissing may signify emotional or physical interest beyond a friendship.

• Have you romantically kissed anyone other than [name]?

Going on a date while in a committed relationship is a clear sign of emotional or physical betrayal. These exams identify behavior related to romantic pursuit.

Example RQs:

• Have you gone on a date with anyone other than [name]?

• Have you met someone expecting to have sex with them?

Sexually explicit conversations outside the relationship can be considered emotional infidelity. This includes phone sex, sexting, or any sexual communication with others.

Example RQs:

• Have you had a sexual conversation with anyone other than [name]?

• Have you sexted with anyone other than [name]?

Using dating platforms or placing personal ads implies an intention to meet someone outside the relationship, even if no physical contact occurred.

Example RQs:

• Have you placed or responded to a personal ad?

• Do you currently have a profile on a dating site?

Engaging in sex-for-money transactions is a serious breach that also introduces health and safety concerns.

Example RQs:

• Have you paid anyone for sexual services?

• Have you received payment in exchange for sex?

This category reveals whether a partner has already taken steps to end the relationship, such as consulting an attorney or sharing intentions with others.

Example RQs:

• Have you told anyone you were going to leave or divorce [name]?

• Have you taken steps to leave your relationship?

Although emotions are difficult to measure objectively, this section addresses verbal expressions and actions associated with emotional attachment.

Example RQs:

• Have you told someone you were in love with them (excluding family)?

• Have you told anyone you were not in love with [name]?

Though we cannot test thoughts or future intentions, we can ask about specific plans or arrangements that have already been made.
